Peri-implantitis

The peri-implantitis is an inflammation of the tissues surrounding the dental implant associated with the onset of a bacterial flora on the implant surface.

In these cases it is observed bone resorption and the formation of a fibrous (granulation tissue) which may cause loss of implant in few weeks.
